How the ministry works

Jim Denison and Jeff Byrd launched the Center for Informed Faith in February, 2009 to respond to this critical need. CIF is joining God in building a movement of culturechanging Christians, in Dallas and around the world. Here is our three-fold strategy:

Evangelizing the culture: we connect biblical truth to cultural issues through speaking events and media, leading people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord.
Equipping Christians: we teach practical discipleship through Bible studies and publications, leading believers to fulfill their ministry in the world.
Engaging churches in spiritual renewal: we guide Christians in spiritual formation through worship services, seminars, retreats, and resources, leading churches to join the Fifth Great Awakening.

How Can I Meet Jesus For Myself?

You can know God personally. The Creator of the universe made you and wants an intimate relationship with you. The way to know the Father is through his Son: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). How can you meet Jesus for yourself?

How Can I Grow in My Faith?

All healthy things grow. If you have asked Jesus Christ to become your personal Lord and Savior, you have only begun the Christian life. Now God wants you to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18). How can you grow in your faith?
