Global warming is one of the most divisive subjects of our day. Some allege that the entire issue is overblown. Others claim that it is the most crucial moral and practical issue of our time. What are the facts behind the debate? What does the Bible say to this critical subject?

What does the Bible teach about homosexuality?

I am not gay, have no family members who are, and have no experience with this lifestyle. So who am I to judge? Why don't we just let consenting adults do what they wish, so long as no one else is hurt? Many in our society take this approach to the subject, whatever their own sexual preferences might be. To do otherwise seems to be intolerant and judgmental, two words our relativistic society cannot tolerate.

Perhaps you've heard of the "Pulpit Initiative." A group of ministers came together in Fall 2009 to challenge the IRS regulation prohibiting pastors from making political endorsements from the pulpit. More than 30 ministers took partisan messages to their congregations in flagrant violation of the IRS ruling, hoping to generate a legal battle.

Radical Islam: The Greatest Threat To The Western World

In November 2008, an Arab newspaper in London reported that Osama bin Laden is planning an attack against the United States that will "outdo by far" September 11. The warning was printed on the front page of Al-Quds Al-Arabi and was widely reported in major Italian papers. The paper is edited by Abdel al-Bari Atwan, said to be the last journalist to interview bin Laden in 1996. According to the report, bin Laden is personally following preparations for an attack against the U.S. which will "change the face of world politics and economics."

I remember the day as though it were last Saturday. I was in elementary school, growing up in Houston, Texas. It was late one summer afternoon, the sun was setting and the stars were just becoming visible. A cool breeze was blowing its hint of fall to come. I got off my bike, lay back in the cool St. Augustine grass of a neighbor’s lawn, folded my hands behind my head, and looked up into the sky.

It was the phone call from hell. I was on the back porch of our house, resting after a morning walk, when the father called. The doctors had just left his little girl's hospital room. They told him it was time to turn off the machines, that there was nothing more they could do. But he and his wife didn't have to do what they said. They could leave their baby on life support indefinitely while praying for a miracle.

More people die from suicide than from homicide in America. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for those aged 15-24, and is most common among those aged 65 years and older. Suicide rates among the elderly are highest for those who are divorced or widowed. In the last half-century, the suicide rate among adolescents and young adults has nearly tripled.

How Can I Meet Jesus For Myself?

You can know God personally. The Creator of the universe made you and wants an intimate relationship with you. The way to know the Father is through his Son: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). How can you meet Jesus for yourself?

How Can I Grow in My Faith?

All healthy things grow. If you have asked Jesus Christ to become your personal Lord and Savior, you have only begun the Christian life. Now God wants you to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18). How can you grow in your faith?
